Together these form the legal framework that all commercial fire protection must comply with.

  • Who is responsible for fire safety in the workplace?

    Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, the Responsible Person is legally accountable. In multi-tenanted buildings, responsibility may be shared between landlord and tenants for their respective areas.     Employers also have duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 to manage workplace risks, including fire.
